Internships and Professional Practice
More than half of Agriculture students complete an internship during their time at Illinois State, providing them with an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems.
Students majoring in Agriculture are encouraged to complete an internship experience, also called professional practice. Some students complete more than one. On average, the Department of Agriculture has over 75 students participating in the internship program each summer.
