The Illinois State University Alumni Association, the Department of Agriculture, and the Office of the Provost invite you to bring your family out to a Normal CornBelters baseball game this summer!

Illinois State’s Horticulture Center, Raab Road
Enjoy the pregame cookout at the Horticulture Center located on Raab Road directly across from the Corn Crib. The event fee of $5 includes a burger/hot dog/veggie burger, chips, cookies, ice cream, and beverages. Each guest will receive one drink ticket and one ice cream ticket with each paid registration. A cash bar will also be available.

At 7 p.m. the CornBelters will take on Windy City at their stadium on Raab Road. Game tickets are $9 per person.

The Illinois State University Department of Agriculture hosted 47th Annual Ag Awards Program on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
Drs. Whitacre and Spaulding took our National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) chapter to Jacksonville, FL for their annual contest. They had a very successful week and received multiple awards including
ISU-NAMA also received the ISU Outstanding Large Registered Student Organization of the Year Award and Outstanding Philanthropic Program Award.
Dr. Kopsell took 11 horticulture students to participate in the PLANET Student Career Days competition hosted by Colorado State University. They competed against over 800 students from 61 schools. ISU had top 20 finishes in:

Weibring Golf Club at Illinois State University has received certification in Environmental Planning from the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses (ACSP).
